3. Event: Partie-exhibition of Hip-Hop "Surviving August"

I love the music, art and design exhibition because give me inspiration and make me want to continue with the proyects. 

I like Hip-hip culture so, i like to go to the events about new's album's for the my favorite artists and emergent proyects in the "underground" about the graffiti or dj's and including events to benefit. 

Today I would like to talking about the last "tocata" I attended. And I'll leave you the flyer designed by the graffiti artist "Delito Sheyk". An underground artist to the old school. He is a Graphic Designer. 




This event its organizated for the artist mentioned above and "Piter Ponx" Hip-Hop producer and Art teacher. Two important people for the underground, in my opinion. 

The objetive was collect money for the future exhibition about the art of "Sheyk". So this is a firts event and attended Rappers, Djs, Graffiti artist and a one Bgirl. And obviusly the hip-hop audience. 

So this saturday for august, was a night of music, djs, graffiti exhibition. Where also show an spoiler for the important book about Chilean political graffiti-mural named "Ya no basta con pintar" by the "12 brillos Crew". 


Also the entrepreneurship "Pinturas Gamex" show us your acrylics paints in a 26 diferents colors. 

This night event was organizated in the spot an studio "Holy pain Tattoos" ("Santo Dolor Tatuajes"). 

I enjoy this event because i see my hip-hop friendships, i listen music and i met some very  interesting people. 

This will be one of the last parties-exhibition I will go to, because after that I want to concentrate on other things and save money for my exchange. That is why I have tried to enjoy it as much as possible.

  Today i’m going to tell you about myself.  My name is Sofía, i’m an Industrial Design student at Univesidad de Chile, also i am an apprentice of Graffiti and Muralism. I came from the VI region of Chile, specifically a small town called San Vicente de Tagua Tagua. Is very close to the Santiago, around two hours for the coast. I lived there until i was sixteen years old, then i came to Stgo. As a child i was very independent, this attitude give me courage for live in the city. When i arrive, i came with the idea of learn about art, design, graffiti and especially all of Hip Hop culture. Today, I am in my fourth year of my career. I am also a daughter and older sister. I have two brothe rs. Emma have six years old and Simón nineteen, they live with my Mother Sofía, at San Vicente Tagua Tagua.  This town have diferents hills and landscape. 2. An interesting trip!

Since i have around 5 years old a have trips on hitchhiking with mi grandmother, she would say "We have this follies to enjoy the life and no be afraid to nothing". And after to her sudden death i continue with our tradition.    I try to travel all summers with my backpacking "mochilera", my finger for the hitchhiking and a friend. Or even i do travel alone, but not yet on hitchhiking for long trips.  So, i do my travels between the final weeks of february and inicial days of march because on this days all places no have al lot of people. I often go to the south of Chile for your green landscapes and your beautiful magic people.  But in the summer of 2022 i trip with my friend "Gorgona" to the north, our goal was to arrive to the abandoned beach to the smalltown "Pan de Azúcar". My favorite piece of technology

 One of my favorite electronic devices are speakers.  Speakers are fantastic pieces of technology that enhance our audio experiences. I use them for listening to music, watching movies, documentaries or series.  Personally, I love the versatility and convenience of portable Bluetooth speakers. I can listen to music while painting or riding my bike. It lifts my mood and makes my days better.  Wireless connectivity makes it easy to connect to my smartphone and stream music effortlessly. So I can listen to any kind of music wherever I want.  I like it when we are with my friends studying, talking or at a party. In all these moments we are using a speaker to improve the audio of our music.  I personally use a JBL speaker and it has lasted almost 4 years. It continues to maintain its audio quality despite all the battles it has endured. Such as a lot of drops.  The quality of sound produced by speakers is crucial, and that's why I appreciate speakers with excellent audio performance.
